Learning Hub site assets
Twitter's internal learning site, the Learning Hub, was completely redesigned, and I was tasked with creating the site's assets. The Learning Hub consists of a landing page and seven sub-pages. I created a masthead and several assets for each page. Working within Twitter's brand which ranges from minimal to maximal, I went for maximal expression, pairing primary and secondary colors together in unconventional pairs. The loud movement and color in these assets reflect Tweeps' spirit and desire to always be learning.
Tools: Illustrator, Photoshop
Mastheads
For the site's mastheads, the backgrounds consist of multiple textures layered on top of a duotone image. Some halftone peeks through, but I had to ensure the mastheads were muted enough so that each page's title was legible and passed color contrast accessibility standards. (Note: The titles were added in AEM after, when the site was built.)

Featured pages
For the site's featured pages, I leaned into Twitter's collage style. Each background features two images: one with a paper texture, the other in halftone. The tear separates the images and acts as a tear-away reveal.

Cards
For the site’s cards, I used a tear to soften the transition from image to text. The background consists of texture layered on top of a duotone image. I wanted the background image to be indiscernible, used instead for movement and color.
